Specified Skilled Worker

It is an activity to engage in work in a specific industrial field that requires a considerable amount of knowledge or experience based on a contract regarding employment with a public or private institution in Japan designated by the Minister of Justice.
Currently, 14 fields have been designated for this Specified Skilled Worker.

Non-working visa

What is a non-working visa?

Unlike a working visa, a non-working visa is a status of residence that can be given to activities that are not intended for work, and this corresponds to a status of residence such as "Student" or "Dependent".
Since it is a non-working qualification, employment is not permitted, but if you have a "Permission to engage in activities other than permitted under the status of residence" from the Immigration Services Agency of Japan, you can work to a certain extent such as a part-time job.

Activities to receive education at the following schools are applicable.
